http://www.treelobsters.com/2009/10/93-mole-day.html
That's right kids, it's Mole Day Eve! Remember to hang up your Moleskines by the chimney (using Molex connectors of course). And be sure to leave some guacamole for Santavagadro. Oh, I can already hear the carolers singing... Mo-el Mo-el Mo-el Mo-el...

#90 Paper
http://www.treelobsters.com/2009/10/90-paper.html
DISCLAIMER: Of course The Family Circus isn't just Jeffy doing the dotted line thing. There's also the ones where Dolly says something that's intended to be cute and insightful but ends up being so saccharine that you need an insulin shot or you'll keel over before you get to Funky Winkerbean. Oh, and then there's that "Not Me" evil ghost thing. Those people really need to get an exorcist.

Anti-Anti-Science Bookmark
http://www.treelobsters.com/2009/10/anti-anti-science-bookmark.htmlProbably everyone here already knows about the plan by certain people to distribute abridged copies of Charles Darwin's Origin of Species, including a 50-page anti-science intro, to college campuses across the US. Yesterday, Derferman posted to reddit, requesting suggestions on what to do if you happen to be on one of the targeted campuses. Among the responses was one from Scullywag which suggested giving out free bookmarks to accompany the book. Scullywag went on to suggest that one of my comics would make an appropriate bookmark. I like this idea for a number of reasons:
- It's a non-destructive way to get your point across.
- It uses humor to fight disinformation.
- It promotes my comic, which is always a good thing.
To make things easier, I uploaded a copy of Tree Lobsters #87 in its original resolution, including a border with the title and hover text. As a test, I scaled the image to 7.5"x2.5"and printed three on a sheet of card stock. this seems to be about right for both paperbacks and hardcovers.

On a side note, if anyone has the means and inclination to do a live-action youtube clip of this comic (i.e. with people instead of crabs), please contact me.
